Nigerian dancer Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, better known as Kaffy, has expressed pride that her kids saw the late legendary singer Michael Jackson’s biopic.
Kemi Filani reported that the world premiere of the late singer’s biopic, Michael, took place on April 20th, 2026, and on Monday, Nigeria held its own premiere.
Kaffy, who was invited to the premiere, took her children to see his biopic. Sharing photos from the event, she expressed how blessed she is to see her children experience MJ and even know about his music, dance, and legacy.
According to her, the premiere is a testament to Michael’s legacy and a light that shines generationally.

Kaffy shares her two children with her ex-husband, Joseph Ameh.
The pair married on June 2, 2012, and had two children together, but separated in 2022.
Kaffy said breaking up the marriage was to help her and her ex grow into who they were supposed to be.
Giving an insight into her crashed marriage, she revealed that her husband slept with some of her close pals. She said she stopped sleeping with him because of his dishonesty, and this led to her healing from him.
In an interview with TVC News, Kaffy revealed that she now enjoys things she never found pleasure in while she was married. She said she entered into marriage without understanding its principles, which led to a shaky foundation. She said she was getting to love herself more and understand the value of who she is.
In 2022, actor Femi Branch praised Kaffy for sending a Father’s Day shout-out to her ex-husband.
Despite their divorce, the former couple had reunited on their son’s birthday. Kaffy shared photos from the joint celebration on her Instagram page moments ago, and many of her followers hailed the parents for peacefully co-raising their kids despite their separation.
In other news, the famous dancer issued a stern warning to her male friends, warning them not to involve her in their cheating scandal. She stated that such action is disrespectful to her and to their wife, whom she is most likely close to or has dined with.
Speaking with Toke Makinwa on her podcast, the renowned dancer opened up a can of worms, expressing her belief that the devil has led men astray, convincing them that their manliness is defined by how many women they sleep with.
