Nigerian media personality Do2dtun has made a case for his colleague, Roby Ekpo.
Kemi Filani reported that media personality Roby Ekpo recently opened up about the breakdown of his marriage with his estranged wife, Mayowa Lambe, accusing her of infidelity, deception, and financial strain in a deeply emotional account.
Roby Ekpo, on The Honest Bunch podcast, said he was shocked to discover that his wife had remarried after more than a decade together. He alleged that Lambe misled him throughout their marriage, including hiding her use of contraceptives from him and deceiving him about undergoing medical procedures aimed at conception.
Ekpo also claimed financial strain during the marriage, saying he regularly supported her despite his own earnings. The media personality alleged that Lambe once told someone he was not meeting her needs.
On his Twitter page, he said he would rather have Roby alive than die in silence. He noted how people glorify the dead and crucify those living for speaking out.
Do2dtun said he prefers Roby’s mental health and heart pumping than seeing him in a coffin and silenced. He said the media personality deserves a second chance, deserves to live and deserves to choose how to be treated next time.
Sending a message to Roby, he told him to choose his life back, live with the consequences of his mistakes and bounce back.
“I’ll rather have Roby alive than die in silence. You all glorify the dead in a grave where he is quiet for life. Some of you will hope he spoke. Now he has, yet you crucify him. I don’t care how a man or woman purges, but you see his mental health and his heart that still pumps is what I prefer over his coffin and silence.

Roby deserves a second chance, deserves to live, deserves to choose how to be treated next time, deserves to be better in his career, deserves to be aware of his traumas, deserves to have his own kids, deserves to be seen as a man against all odds, and deserves to be accepted as he is. We carry our childhood traumas and paste them on everything. It never goes away, but you have to be aware of it and deal with it. You can’t resent yourself to the point where you hate to see others approach things with love. We were raised with terms like “Love unconditionally” All of a sudden, the people who taught us this probably died a long time ago, leaving it to us to figure it out. Now it is “Love Yourself first” .. it now comes with conditions.

Weighing in, Daddy Freeze said his wife can never tell him she wants to japa, and blamed Roby for allowing her to travel to the US. While admonishing men not to relocate unless they can do so with their family, Freeze said he can never marry anyone for papers, nor will he allow his wife to do so.
Roby and Mayowa reportedly married in November 2015 and kept much of their relationship private. While neither publicly confirmed their separation, reports indicate that Lambe recently remarried in Texas, United States.
