Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has revealed reasons why presidential aspirant Peter Obi hasn’t achieved anything politically in recent times.
On his Twitter page, he noted that Peter Obi swore he would never leave APGA and declared that he would never achieve anything politically if he left, which, unfortunately, became his reality.
Edochie said he is surprised Peter Obi hasn’t realised this. He reminded him that oaths are powerful and whatever he’s doing with ADC is a waste of time.
“Peter Obi’s Presidential ambition is tied to APGA.
The party he swore he would never leave.
Peter swore before Ojukwu and Ndi Anambra that he would never leave APGA.
He said he will die with APGA.
He said that if he leaves APGA, he may never achieve anything politically.
He later left APGA.
That’s why he hasn’t achieved anything politically since then.
That’s why people used his name to win elections in 2023 while he, the owner of the name, lost.
I’m surprised he hasn’t realised this.
Oaths are very powerful.
Whatever he’s doing with ADC is a waste of time.

A day back, Yul had revealed his prediction for Peter Obi, declaring that any political party he joins will scatter, and whatever he is doing with ADC is dead on arrival. He stated that Obi wouldn’t be the President of Nigeria now.
Recall that during the 2022 election, Yul Edochie, like the majority, was a proud supporter of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi. Surprisingly, the actor switched sides to President Tinubu, following his loss.
In an Instagram post, the father of five stated that despite his new fondness for Tinubu, he still has respect for Peter Obi and will never insult him. He believed Peter is a great Nigerian and his time will come if God allows it. However, it is Jagaban’s time, and the next 8 years are dedicated to him.
Last year, the controversial actor sang the praises of Tinubu, claiming that many states in Nigeria were now enjoying 22 hours of power supply and a reduction in terrorist attacks courtesy of President Tinubu’s administration. Hailing him, Yul described him as the Jagaban, a master strategist, and a silent achiever.
To show his love for Tinubu , he Yul gave himself a new name, Asiwaju Baby, while rocking a Tinubu-inspired outfit.
In another post, he declared that Tinubu has his support as he believes he is a man of wisdom.
Expressing his love for Tinubu, he noted that the country was not in the best situation, yet he believed that all will be well, and the president will fix Nigeria, hence, his continue support for him.
His support for Tinubu earned him an appointment as Deputy Southeast coordinator for Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN). Speaking on his appointment, Yul said he is battle- and service-ready.
