Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has revealed her secret to fighting her battles.
On her Instagram page, the actress, who has become a born-again Christian, shared a video of her praying, revealing that this is her secret to fighting her battles.
Dikeh said praying is the way she stands strong, makes sure her past has nothing on her, finishes well, keeps her cup overflowing, and wins.
She stated that it is zero distraction on her side and that she takes it all to her Heavenly Father.
“This is the way I fight my battles now. The way I stand strong, the way I make sure my past has nothing on me, the way I finish well, the way my cup stays overflowing with abundance, the way I win.
Zero distractions, just taking it all to my father”.
Last month, Tonto, while delivering a powerful testimony at a gospel ministration in Tanzania, reflected on her dark times, revealing that she once struggled with confusion while seeking direction. She disclosed that in the process of trying to find direction, she was led to unhealthy practices and choices she now regrets. She claimed that she joined a cult group, worked with demons, and more.
In an Instagram post, the mother of one revealed her first assignment from God: to clean His house. She questioned Him because she has staff dedicated to maintaining her house, and God told her that cleaning His house is an assignment to launch her into His glory, so that He can clean her from the inside out.
In another post, she said the assignment God has placed upon her is too important to be distracted, and that her eyes are on Him. She noted how Jesus needs no one to defend Him, adding that she would rather be mocked, ridiculed or even slain than silence the name of the one who saved her.
She had announced that she had ditched the ‘King’ in her name after 8 years. She revealed that this decision came in obedience to the Holy Spirit and God’s will for her. She admonished the public to address her as Evangelist Tonto Dikeh.
The movie star had graduated from the Discipleship class. Tonto said her journey with God has been the most healing, stretching, overwhelming, and beautiful experience of her life, and that no one can convince her there is no God.
In an Instagram post, the movie star issued a clarion call to Christians to deepen their prayer lives. Sharing a video of her praying, Dike admonished the public to open their heart to receive a miracle, as she was fighting for her life, her destiny, her child, and her generation.
