Big Brother Naija reality star Cross Okonkwo has issued a warning ahead of his wedding.
On his Instagram story, he raised the alarm that someone has been charging N500,000 for invites to his wedding.
Cross made it known that the person is a scammer and should be reported.
He admonished his fans not to pay anyone to attend his wedding, as he is only selling access cards, not tickets.
“Pls, no one should pay anybody money o. If you’re part of CN, pls reach out to Pam; she will help you out.
Pls, no one is selling tickets for my wedding. Anyone who says you should bring money is a thief, and you should report them ASAP. I am not selling any tickets, only access cards. Thank you”.
Kemi Filani reported that the reality star and his wife, Chinonso, held their court wedding on Monday, February 23rd.
Following his court wedding, the reality star shared photos, expressing gratitude to his Maker. He presented him and his wife to the world as Mr and Mrs Okonkwo.
Refreshing your memory, in October, 2025, the reality star proposed to the love of his life, Chinonso. Videos from the proposal made rounds online where the reality star was captured on his knees as he proposed to his woman, who said yes.
In another post, he promised to love her “today, tomorrow, and forever.” The reality star expressed gratitude to his Maker for the beautiful gift He has given him and welcomed his women to his world.
Two years back, Cross sparked relationship rumours with All Stars winner Ilebaye after they were spotted getting cosy at an event. In the clip, Cross held on to Ilebaye, who was smiling like a teenager in love as she looked at the camera. In the background of the video, someone could be heard calling the lovebirds her favourite ship.
In 2023, in an interview, Cross had clarified his relationship stance with Kim, while also touching on his infamous kiss with Ilebaye, which he stated was all just for fun and nothing more.
He disclosed that he has feelings for Kim as the more time they spent together in the house, he appreciated qualities in Kim that he saw as desirable in a romantic partner.
