Emmanuel Obasi, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin, has thrown a shade at her husband, Yul Edochie, following his latest post.
Hours ago, Yul sent a message to men, urging them to stop tolerating nonsense from their women. He admonished them to dump their wife or girlfriend who doesn’t respect them and get someone who does. He stressed that a man’s respect is non-negotiable.
In what seems like a response to his statement, Emmanuel, via his Facebook page, noted that respect is earned, not forced. He noted how pride brought Samson’s downfall because he thought he could outsmart Delilah, who killed him.
Obasi noted that because of a woman, Samson, who was once respected, died for nothing.
“Respect is earned, not force. I be strong man nah so Delilah take kpai Sampson, Delilah was not Sampson’s legal wife, but because of expired kpekus once respected Samson kpai for nothing, I tell the story of Samson nothing more”.
A few days ago, Emmanuel shared the warning message he sent to Yul, urging him not to let a woman bring him down; unfortunately, the actor didn’t respond or heed his advice. Throwing a shot at him, he noted how Yul took over the cross from him, for which he is still grateful. Emmanuel stated that he is now free, and Yul is caged.
He threw a subtle shade at Judy while sharing a throwback photo of himself and the actress when they were still together.
Last year, Emmanuel had cried out over his custody battle with Judy. He expressed pain over being denied access to his kids for over a decade, and alleged that he had legally married Judy and had three children with her. However, he hasn’t seen them since they parted ways, and she married Yul Edochie.
In 2024, Obasi, claimed that Yul was sleeping with Judy while she was under his roof, and moved in with him to her family’s house. Obasi revealed that Judy’s family openly accepted the actor even though she was still married to him.
In another video, Obasi cried out to Nigerians for help with custody of his kids. He claimed he hadn’t seen his kids in over 10 years and that the actress was frustrating his life with them because she knew he loved them. He further claimed that Judy had abandoned the kids to focus on her children with Yul, which has left him worried about their well-being and upbringing.
Recall that in 2022, Mr Obasi revealed that he married Judy at age 19, and they welcomed two beautiful children. He disclosed that he had spent heavily on Judy so she could have a degree, yet she abandoned him for Yul, whom she started dating in 2012 while still married to him.
He further claimed that Judy packed up and left their house with the kids after he refused to buy her a house in Enugu. Though he reported the incident to her parents, they made no budge, and Judy has since cut him off from their kids.
It is no longer news that Judy Austin was thrown into the spotlight after her affair and marriage to Yul Edochie, who was at the time married to May Edochie, the mother of his four kids. Their affair led to Yul’s crashed marriage as his estranged wife filed for divorce from him, demanding N100 million from Judy.
