Just In: Presidency Announce Arrest of Suspect Linked to Tinubu’s Fake Audio

The Presidency has announced the arrest of a suspect linked to the controversial audio clip attributed to President Bola Tinubu.

Bayo Onanunga, the Special Adivser to the President on Information and Strategy, made the announcement in a post shared on his X handle on Thursday.

According to Onanuga, the suspect identified as Ifechukwu Dennis, was arrested by the Inspector-General of Police Crack Team.

Ifechukwu, who was alleged to be the originator of the president’s clone voice in the controversial audio clip, was arrest in Benin city.

Onanuga said details of the suspect’s will be relead3d soon by the police.

“The IGP crack team has arrested Ifechukwu Dennis who originated the fake voice that he passed on to his gullible targets as President Tinubu’s voice.

“Dennis was arrested in Benin. The police will issue an official statement.” He wrote.
