Comedian and Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality star, Aderombi Adedayo Martins, popularly known as DeeOne, will contest the Ibeju Lekki Constituency 1 seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly after winning his party’s primary.
He made this known in a post shared on his official Instagram page on Wednesday night following his emergence.
DeeOne, who contested under the banner of the BOOT Party, was declared the candidate for the Ibeju Lekki Constituency 1 seat after defeating other contestants.

Speaking after his victory, he appreciated the party for trusting him and assured the public of his commitment to serve them diligently if given the opportunity.
He wrote, “I want to thank my party, the BOOT Party, for their confidence in voting for me to emerge as the winner of the primary election for Ibeju Lekki Constituency 1.
“To Ibeju Lekki Constituency 1, come 2027, by the grace of God, I will be your worker and not your boss.”
