Leads Other Aspirants in Primaries

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, is set emerge as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the 2027 Presidential Election as he is currently other aspirants in the ongoing primary election of the party.
Atiku currently leads the poll in over 10 states with fellow aspirant, Mohammed Hayatudeen, and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, trailing behind him.
While preparation for the announcement of the final result of the primaries is still ongoing, results emerging from each states showed lead with wide margin.
In Kano State, the ex-Vice President polled a total of 155,995 votes while Hayatudeen recorded 15,914 and Amaechi earning 9,994 votes.
In Lagos Atiku recorded 37,779 votes as against Amaechi’s 6,791 votes and Hayatu-Deen ‘s 2,261.
The primaries in Kebbi State also saw Atiku emerge winner with 65,153 votes.
In Anambra State, Atiku recorded a total of 58,566 votes to defeat Amaechi, who polled 17,085 votes, and Hayatu-Deen, who scored 7,861 votes.
Though yet to be confirmed by the party, Atiku is reported to have won in 15 states with a total of 856,645 votes while Amaechi claimed victory in just one state with 163,775 tote votes.
Hayatu-Deen, on the other hand, has gathered 55,320 across the states who have released their results.
