Ivanna Lisette Ortiz has lost all contact with her child as she remains jailed in connection with the alleged shooting outside Rihanna’s Los Angeles home.
According to new court records, a Florida judge ruled that Ortiz is not allowed any communication with her child until further notice. The only exception would be if the child’s father personally agrees to it. The judge also awarded the child’s father full custody and complete control over all day-to-day decisions.
The ruling comes as Ortiz faces an attempted murder charge in California. Authorities allege Ortiz drove to Rihanna’s property in March and fired several shots outside the home. Law enforcement sources previously said Rihanna was inside the residence with her three children at the time of the incident.
Ortiz has pleaded not guilty and remains behind bars without bond.
The Florida court also delayed an ongoing custody case involving Ortiz and the child’s father. According to the order, no trial date will be set until Ortiz’s criminal case in California has been resolved.
The LAPD has identified the suspect who fired multiple shots at Rihanna’s home, while she and her kids were inside, as 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz.

The judge also referenced Ortiz’s previous involuntary psychiatric hold in Florida. Ortiz has claimed that earlier hospitalization was based on false allegations.
For now, the child’s father will continue to have sole custody while Ortiz remains in custody and awaits further proceedings in California.
