Kanye West’s planned return to Europe has hit another setback.

The rapper’s upcoming concerts in Poland and Switzerland have been canceled following backlash over his past antisemitic remarks.

FC Basel, the Swiss football club that oversees events at St. Jakob-Park, confirmed that it would not move forward with a proposed June concert featuring West.

“We cannot, in accordance with our values, provide a platform for the artist in question within this context,” a spokesperson for the club told Reuters.

One day earlier, officials in Poland announced that West’s scheduled June 19 performance at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów would no longer take place.

“The concert by Ye (Kanye West), scheduled for 19 June 2026 at the Superauto.pl Silesian Stadium, will not take place due to formal and legal reasons,” venue director Adam Strzyzewski said in a statement.

Poland’s culture minister, Marta Cienkowska, publicly opposed the appearance.

“In a country marked by the history of the Holocaust, we cannot pretend that this is just entertainment,” she wrote on social media.

The latest cancellations come after Ye recently postponed a concert in Marseille, France, and was barred from entering the United Kingdom for a planned appearance at London’s Wireless festival. He has previously made multiple antisemitic comments and later said, “I am not a Nazi or an antisemite.”
