Cardi B and Offset’s divorce battle appears to be getting even more complicated.
According to TMZ, Offset recently asked a judge to order a paternity test for the baby Cardi shares with Stefon Diggs. The request was reportedly included in a court filing submitted February 25 during the former couple’s ongoing divorce proceedings.
The judge denied that request.
Court documents reportedly referred to one child as a “newborn,” leading many to believe the filing involved Cardi and Diggs’ son, born in November 2025. The judge did approve a separate paternity test involving another one of Cardi’s children, though details about which child was involved were redacted in the filing.
Cardi, 33, and Offset, 34, share three children: daughter Kulture, born in 2018; son Wave, born in 2021; and daughter Blossom, born in 2024.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper filed for divorce in 2024 after years of ups and downs in her marriage to Offset. The pair first separated in 2020 amid cheating rumors, only to later reconcile.
Offset was recently spotted on a smoke break outside the hospital where he is recovering after being shot last night.

Meanwhile, Cardi appears to still be on good terms with Diggs. Days after rumors that the couple had split, the rapper was spotted with the NFL star following her concert in Washington, D.C., on Thursday night.
Offset has also made headlines this week after being shot in the leg outside a Florida casino and is recovering after being hospitalized.
