Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has claimed that former Presidential candidate, Peter Obi‘s inability to achieve anything politically in recent times is due to an oath he took before dumping the All Progressives Congress Grand Alliance (APGA).
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that Yul, in a post via his 𝕏 handle, said Peter Obi’s Presidential ambition is tied to APGA, insinuating that unless the former Governor of Anambra State returns to the party, he cannot make progress politically.
According to the movie star, Peter Obi took an oath never to leave APGA and even prayed that he would never achieve anything politically should he leave the South East-dominated party.
Yul Edochie stressed that oaths are very powerful and they are hindering Peter Obi’s political progress.
He wrote, “Peter Obi’s Presidential ambition is tied to APGA. The party he swore he would never leave. Peter swore before Ojukwu and Ndi Anambra that he would never leave APGA.
“He said he will die with APGA. He said that if he leaves APGA, he may never achieve anything politically. He later left APGA. That’s why he hasn’t achieved anything politically since then.
“That’s why people used his name to win elections in 2023 while he, the owner of the name, lost. I’m surprised he hasn’t realised this. Oaths are very powerful.
“Whatever he’s doing with ADC is a waste of time. Peter Obi has chances of being President in 2031 after TINUBU, but he can only do it with APGA.”
