Aubrey O’Day Says Going to Kanye’s Shows Doesn’t Make Her a Hypocrite!

Aubrey O’Day is speaking out to defend attending both of Kanye West’s recent Los Angeles concerts.

The singer addressed the backlash in a statement shared on X on Monday after one social media user called her a “f–king hypocrite.”

“I’ve been vocal about abuse because I’ve lived it, and I don’t excuse it, ever. That hasn’t changed,” O’Day wrote.

The former Danity Kane member, who has spoken publicly about Sean “Diddy” Combs for years, said attending Ye’s concerts did not mean she supports everything the rapper has said or been accused of.

“But I also don’t believe engaging with someone’s art means I co-sign every opinion or action they’ve ever had,” she wrote. “If that were the rule, most of this industry and honestly most of the world would be off limits.”

O’Day added, “What I don’t support is harm, exploitation, or violence.”

“You can disagree with where I draw my line, but calling it hypocrisy ignores the nuance,” she continued. “It’s not black and white.”

O’Day has become one of Diddy’s most outspoken critics even before she appeared in the recent Netflix docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning. After his arrest last year, she wrote, “Today is a win for women all over the world.” She also claimed that she was informed that the disgraced music mogul assaulted her after drugging her and that the assault was witnessed by a Diddy staffer.

Ye has also faced allegations in recent years. In a lawsuit filed in 2025, former employee Lauren Pisciotta accused him of sexual assault and harassment. Ye has denied the allegations.
