The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has fixed April 30, 2026, as the final date for the revalidation and registration of its members across the country ahead of the 2027 general election.

PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that the party said the exercise is for both new and existing members.

In a notice released in Awka by its National Publicity Secretary, Dr Ejimofor Opara, the party explained that the deadline is in line with Section 77(5) of the Electoral Act 2026. The law requires political parties to submit a full digital membership list to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

He added that only members whose details are captured in the party’s digital register and submitted to INEC will be allowed to take part in the party’s primary elections for the 2027 polls. This includes those seeking to contest for tickets and those who will vote or serve as delegates during the primaries.

The party also warned that anyone who fails to complete registration or revalidation before the deadline will not be allowed to take part in any of its primary election activities.

Opara advised all interested members and aspirants to complete their registration through the party’s official online platform before the closing date. He also stated that no extra time will be given after April 30.

The notice was directed at all members and stakeholders of APGA, with instructions for full compliance.
