Nollywood actress Bisola Badmus has melted hearts with a lovely video of her son, Malik, celebrating his father, Kwam1 birthday.
Kemi Filani reported last year that at an event, which the estranged parents attended, Kwam1 was captured exchanging pleasantries with his son while performing at the event. Bisola, who was standing nearby and looking on in awe, broke down in tears.
In celebration of Kwam1’s 69th birthday, Bisola shared on Instagram a video of their son sending his good wishes.
In the clip, the teenager wished his father a happy birthday and prayed for his long life, prosperity, health, and wealth. He declared that this wouldn’t be his last birthday.
“Happy birthday to you, daddy. Long life and prosperity to you, sir. More health and more wealth. This wouldn’t be your last birthday”.
While celebrating her birthday last year, the Yoruba actress noted how her battle started in 2022, when she was diagnosed with a brain tumour, which took all she had ever worked for and almost took her life. Expressing gratitude to her Maker, she thanked Him for his intervention and said a brain tumour isn’t an experience she will ever wish anyone, not even her enemy. Bisola informed the public that she is now hale and hearty and appreciated the good people whom God sent that stood by her.
While counting down to her birthday, Bisola shared a photo of herself on treatment, while expressing gratitude to her Maker. She asserted that what God can’t do doesn’t exist.
In 2024, Bisola in an interview with her colleague, Kunle Afod, revealed she had been battling a brain tumor for three tears, and it got to a stage where she couldn’t see or recognize anyone. Bisola, however, said she had been using drugs and her condition had improved.
In another interview with Biola Bayo, she opened up on her co-parenting struggles with Kwam1. She said she initially didn’t tell him about her sickness, but he got to know and helped her for a while until he stopped responding to her calls. She cried out that she wanted him to take care of the responsibilities of their son as it wasn’t easy for her.
