Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has lashed out at Igbo men who are criticising others for supporting President Tinubu in the upcoming General election.
Calling them a monkey and a coward, he told them to show him a video of them dragging Yorubas or Northerners who are supporting Tinubu.
Yul noted how they don’t have the liver to do it and only have power for their fellow Igbo brothers.
“Any Igbo man who is dragging his fellow Igbo man for supporting President TINUBU, that person is a monkey and a coward.
Show me a video of you dragging Yorubas who are supporting TINUBU.
Show me a video of you dragging Northerners who are supporting TINUBU.
Show me a video of you dragging all the past leaders who couldn’t fix Nigeria.
Show me a video of you dragging Northern celebrities who support TINUBU.

Kemi Filani reported last month that Yul bagged an appointment with President Tinubu, as Deputy Southeast coordinator for Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN). Speaking on his appointment, Yul said he is battle- and service-ready.
Days after his appointment, Edochie shared a video of himself linking up with Cubana in Owerri at the Renewed Hope National Youth Tour. Yul declared that it is Tinubu or nothing in 2027.
Yul’s appointment with Tinubu wasn’t surprising as the actor has been a diehard fan of him.
The controversial actor sang the praises of Tinubu, claiming that many states in Nigeria were now enjoying 22 hours of power supply and a reduction in terrorist attacks courtesy of President Tinubu’s administration. Hailing him, Yul described him as the Jagaban, master strategist, and silent achiever.
in July of 2024, Yul’s wife, Judy Austin praised him as he launched the ‘Relax Jagaban will fix this country’ movement to show his support for the president. Judy revealed that one of the things she admired about him was his dedication to everything he sets his mind to, and described him as the definition of Strength and stability in human form.
Recall that Yul made headlines when he gave himself a new name, Asiwaju Baby, as he unashamedly declared love for President Tinubu. Proving how much he loves him, he shared a photo of him rocking a Tinubu-inspired outfit – a native top which had the face of the President on it.
In another post, he declared that Tinubu has his support as he believes he is a man of wisdom.
In April, Yul had once again expressed his love for Tinubu. He noted how the country was not in the best situation, yet he believes that all will be well. He further stated that he believes strongly that President Tinubu can fix Nigeria, and he will continue to support him 100%.
His constant public endorsement of the president sparked a wave of reactions and discussions among Nigerians and netizens.
