Nigerian singer and songwriter Simi is celebrating her 38th birthday.
The wife of Adekunle Gold shared new photos of herself, noting that she is the type who always celebrates her birthday.
Simi said the year has been a pretty big, long, heavy, and blessed one, and expressed gratitude to her Maker, noting that He doesn’t play about her.
The mother of two said that if she doesn’t turn up for her birthday, people should call the police.

Last year, Adekunle Gold poured out his heart to Simi on her birthday, remembering how he met her and how things had changed since then. He thanked her for being his home, his biggest supporter, and the most beautiful part of his history.
To celebrate her day, the celebrant recalled how complex and constant growth is and how one keeps growing even after ‘growth’. Simi revealed how grateful she was for what she has, showered herself with prayers, and declared herself a child of God.

In January, the parents of three celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary. Adekunle noted how seven years ago, he married his best friend, and since then, every year has been gentler than the last. He said that through it all, loving her has been the easiest and most beautiful decision of his life.
Simi stated that Adekunle is still the one, even after seven years have passed, and expressed gratitude for the joy and peace he brings to her life. Calling him the husband of her youth, she affirmed her love for him.
