Nollywood actor Damola Olatunji is celebrating his senior colleague, Bolaji Amusan, better known as Mr Latin, as he bags a degree.

Kemi Filani reported on Saturday that the veteran announced that he has bagged a BSc in Peace and Conflict Resolution from the National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN. Sharing clips from his graduation ceremony, he expressed gratitude to his Maker and appreciated his family, friends, and well-wishers for their love and support.

Taking to his Instagram page to celebrate him, Olatunji said Mr Latin proved that true greatness never stops growing. He called him an inspiration to the world, noting that despite his age and everything he has accomplished, his passion for learning and pursuit of knowledge remain unmatched.

Mr Latin joins the list of celebrities who have bagged degrees at an advanced age.

Last year, Antar Olaniyan had bagged a doctorate degree from Achievers Networks UK Academy. The honour was conferred in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the creative and entertainment industry.

Two years back, Adebayo Salami, alongside his colleagues, Jide Kosoko, and Patience Ozokwo were honored with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Theatre and Media Arts from the same University. This was to celebrate their illustrious careers and contributions to the entertainment industry.

Actress, Regina Daniels’ mother, Rita Daniels bagged a Bachelor’s degree from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). Rita shared photos from her conviction ceremony as she revealed that she was heading to Law school.

Joining her, Kanayo O Kanayo became a lawyer. The talented actor, noted how he did not give up on his dreams and expressed gratitude to God.

In 2022, Sola Sobowale bagged an honorary doctorate degree in Philosophy from Estam University. Sola shared the good news on her Instagram page as she announced that she was now a doctor and in a new dispensation.

Also, Ireti Doyle had bagged a Doctorate Degree. Expressing her joy, Ireti revealed that she never foresaw her achievement, as she had envisaged many things for herself but she didn’t see this coming.

Gospel singer, Lanre Teriba, bagged his first degree from Boston University, Massachusetts, USA. Though he didn’t disclose his course of study, he expressed gratitude to his creator, stating that he had finally made it.

Fuji Maestro, Shared Osupa revealed that he was officially a graduate of the University of Ibadan where he bagged a Second Class Upper Credit from the Department of Political Science. Sharing photos from his convocation ceremony, he informed the public that he was now a graduate of the prestigious university as he gave all Glory to God.

To top it off, veteran comedian, Klint Da Drunk was honored with a doctorate degree. Expressing his joy, Klint revealed how surreal his achievement still felt to him. He stated that he wished his father was alive to see his achievement.
