Troops of the 112 Task Force Battalion under Operation Hadin Kai have arrested five suspected terrorist logistics suppliers and intercepted a large consignment of medical and other supplies during an operation in Mafa Local Government Area of Borno State.
The operation, conducted at about 1:30 p.m. on July 20, 2026, led to the seizure of hundreds of cartons of veterinary and pharmaceutical products, 30 plasma televisions, empty sacks and mobile phones believed to be linked to a suspected terrorist supply network.
The Acting Military Information Officer of Operation Hadin Kai, Capt. Mohammed Goni, who disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday, said the suspects were intercepted while transporting 491 cartons of Albe Stark 2.5 per cent dewormer and 100 cartons of multivitamin injections for animals without the required waybill or supporting documents.
Goni said the troops subsequently conducted a thorough search of the vehicles and uncovered additional medical supplies concealed within the consignment.

Goni listed the recovered items to include 32 cartons of Diclofenac Sodium Injection, 58 cartons of Benzylpenicillin Sodium BP, six cartons of Dexamethasone Injection, and 51 cartons of Metronidazole Intravenous Infusion.
He disclosed that the troops also recovered 30 units of 80-inch LG plasma televisions, 152 empty Bagco sacks, and seven mobile phones.
The army spokesperson said preliminary investigations revealed that the consignment was intended for a vendor in N’Djamena, Chad Republic, while part of the concealed medical supplies was to be transferred to another truck near the Nigeria–Chad border in what Goni described as an attempt to evade security checks.
“The suspects are currently in the custody of 24 Task Force Brigade for further investigation,” Goni stated.
