In January, many had mourned the death of upcoming singers, Destiny Boy.
Following his death, there were controversies surrounding the cause of his death, with many social media users clamouring for an autopsy.
One of the controversies was a video of his body being transported to a mortuary. In another, the artist was seen lying in the back of a vehicle, with cotton wool placed in his nostrils and ears.
A close circle of the singer claimed he had been battling a private health challenge, and his family members corroborated the report, saying the young singer was living with a long-term illness, which had caused him to have seizures.
His mother even addressed the public, saying his family had sought both medical and traditional treatment for his condition.
The Ogun State Police Command stepped in and transferred his case to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Homicide Section, for detailed investigation.
Reacting to his death, Portable blamed bloggers for having a hand in his death, stating that Destiny was a better singer than Wizkid but didn’t have any helpers. Praying against untimely death, he dragged Small Doctor for faking tears as he questioned what he did for the singer when he was alive.
The singer began to gain prominence after releasing his Fuji cover of Davido’s ‘If’ in 2019, which attracted massive traction on social media.
He also delivered covers of songs by artists like Tekno, 2Baba, 9ice, and Small Doctor.
