Dutch model Jelicia Westhoff has accused Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye of physical assault and child neglect, Soccernet.ng reports.
Over the last few months, Okoye has drawn significant attention for his appearance. The Nigerian player frequently shares striking photos of himself on social media, prompting open admiration from many female fans.
Although he has previously stated that he knows how to handle the attention from women, recent developments suggest he may currently be in a relationship.
Over the past three weeks, rumours have circulated that he is dating popular American rapper Cardi B. The two were spotted sitting together in France two weeks ago and, most recently, were seen having dinner in Italy.
While they have not officially confirmed their relationship, being spotted together multiple times across two countries strongly suggests something romantic may be happening.
However, Okoye now finds himself facing more serious personal issues.

In a recent development, Jelicia Westhoff took to social media to publicly call out her former partner.
Reportedly, the Dutch model was provoked to speak out by recent images of Okoye and Cardi B together.
She alleges that the 26-year-old goalkeeper subjected her to physical abuse and infidelity involving both men and women, stating that she initially kept silent to protect his career.
Westhoff also claims that Okoye has neglected their child, refusing to provide financial or parental support.
”You don’t call your son, you don’t see your son? Because you’re too busy punishing his mother and being a baddie on social media,” Westhoff wrote.
”Your son that you wanted so badly when you were still broke and I had to give you money.”
”Think I’m stupid enough to be with someone like this! F**king people behind it force me to fix people’s image! I had no choice because when someone has an image they can do whatever they want, and if you don’t do what they want, you have a whole team coming after you. But you know what? Let me be the bad person, I don’t give a damn anymore.”
”I was so scared to take you to court, so scared to press charges, so scared to do anything because I knew you would punish our child. But you know what? I’ve been calm, I gave you a million chances, and do you take care of him? No. Because you have to see him in my house, otherwise you can’t be a father. You manipulative [slur].”
Additionally, Westhoff has shared memes on her Instagram page targeting men who refuse to take care of their children.
Okoye and Westhoff welcomed a son, Isaiah Amiel Okoye, in 2023. As of now, the Super Eagles star has not publicly addressed the allegations.
