Award-winning singer Tiwa Savage has shared photos from her son, Jamal Balogun’s 11th birthday celebration with his friends.
Speaking on being a mum, Tiwa said motherhood has taught her more about God’s love than she ever imagined. She said she worries about him, celebrates him, protects him, forgives him, believes in him and would give anything, including her life, for him.
Wishing her son a happy 11th birthday, she described him as her greatest blessing, answered prayer, best friend, and expressed joy in watching him grow.

Maybe that’s why God calls us His children. Every hug, every prayer, every sacrifice, every moment of unconditional love I feel for Jamil is just a tiny reflection of the love God has always had for us.

For her son’s 10th birthday, last year, she gifted him an iPhone, warning him against using social media. She revealed that Jamil had wanted an iPhone since his 9th birthday.
A day before his birthday, the famous singer broke down on social media over visa difficulties. She said she didn’t know if her visa was approved or not, and she had a huge shoot in London, which would cost her many opportunities. The single mother said that, to worsen the situation, all her travel plans for her son’s birthday had also been ruined.
