Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has appealed to Nigerians for financial assistance as she battles an undisclosed health condition requiring three life-saving surgeries.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, the actress disclosed that she has been managing the illness for some time but now urgently needs medical treatment estimated to cost ₦30 million.
Describing the appeal as a difficult decision, Nwosu pleaded with fans, friends, colleagues and well-wishers not to ignore her call for help.
“My fans, friends, family and colleagues, this was really hard for me to do, but I can’t keep quiet anymore. I need urgent life-saving surgeries,” she wrote.
She added, “Please don’t scroll past. Share this post and support if you can. God bless you and may you and yours never experience this affliction.”
The actress said those willing to support her could contact her legal representative or management for further details, noting that the total amount required for the surgeries is ₦30 million.
Nwosu also shared her bank account details to receive donations from members of the public.
