Human Rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, has unveiled a mobile app dedicated to his campaign for the 2027 Presidential Election.
Sowore unveiled the app christened SoworeNow in a post shared on his X handle on Sunday.
However, the iOS app, according to the African Action Congress (AAC) Presidential candidate, is only available for download by iPhone and iPad users.
Attached to the post was a link to download the iOS app which Sowore urged his supporters to download.
“Join the movement. Stay connected to the campaign. Get updates, events, policy positions, media content, and opportunities to organize and volunteer directly from your iPhone or iPad.” Sowore wrote.
The features of the app, as highlighted by the Sahara Reporters publisher, include campaign updates, news & announcements, events & mobilization, volunteer, opportunities, multimedia content, and direct engagement.
Meanwhile, the unveiled app was received with mixed reactions from netizens as some condemned its restriction to iPhone and iPad users while others considered it a divisive development to those who does not have a phone.
Some critics labelled the app unveiling as a fraud scheme to solicit for donation.
