The Nigeria Police Force has successfully rescued Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, the sister of a former Minister of Power, along with her 12-year-old twin sons following their abduction in Oyo State.
According to reports from security sources and multiple news platforms, the victims were rescued during a coordinated police operation that led to a fierce gun battle between officers and the suspected kidnappers.
Police authorities disclosed that two suspected kidnappers were neutralised during the exchange of gunfire, while two firearms believed to have been used by the criminal gang were recovered at the scene.
