Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has announced the release date for his sixth studio album.
Davido announced the release date for the much anticipated album on Monday on his X account.
The project follows the release of 5ive April 2025 and will become Davido’s sixth studio album, further expanding a catalogue that has established him among Africa’s leading music artistes.
He unveiled the album title as ORIADE and confirmed its release date as July 31.
NPO Reported that Davido released his highly anticipated first single of 2026, ‘I Know Who I Be’, last week Friday.
The 13-track album, which marks Davido’s sixth studio project and coincides with his 15th anniversary in the music industry, draws inspiration from Yoruba culture, with its title symbolising a crowned destiny and fulfilled purpose.
Davido has released five major studio albums; Omo Baba Olowo (2012), A Good Time (2019), A Better Time (2020), Timeless (2023), and 5ive (2025).
His Grammy-nominated album, Timeless, earned a nomination for 66th Annual Grammy Awards in the Best Global Music Album category, while “Feel” received a Best African Music Performance nomination.
