Former Osun Commissioner for Political Affairs and Intergovernmental Relations, Akeju Taiwo, has dumped the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Akeju, who served under the administration of the fomer governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola, announced his membership withdrawal from the party in a resignation letter issued on Thursday.
The ex-commissioner cited personal reason for the decision.
He declared that his resignation takes immediate effect.
“I hereby resign my membership of All Progressives Congress (APC). Please note that this resignation takes immediate effect.
“This decision is personal and taken after a careful review of my political journey. Thank you” Akeju wrote in the letter addressed to his ward chairman in Ward 01 Iwara, Atakumosa East Local Government Area of Osun state.
