Big Brother Naija reality star Phyna has broken down in tears over her late sister.
In an Instagram live, she said she will never forgive herself for not getting justice for her late sister because someone lied on her and turned the case to dust. She noted how her sister deserves justice and would have been 25 tomorrow if she were alive.
The Level Up winner urged the public to pray that the person the public always believes doesn’t lie to them, because once they do, their pain will no longer matter.
“Pray that the people always believe that you don’t lie on you. Once the world believes a wrong story about you, your pain will not matter to them anymore. My sister would have been 25 tomorrow
I will never forgive myself for not getting justice for her because someone lied on my head and turned the case to dust. My sister deserves justice.”
In another Instagram live, Phyna recalled how she was helping her family when she got rich. She said no one advised her to invest, and the day she stopped saying no, her problems started.
“I thought I was helping my family, when the money entered, I was sharing it like mumu. No one advised me to go invest. The day I started saying No was when my problems started”.
When Phyna announced that she had undergone surgery, she got massive backlash. Oriretan Honour noted how her elder sister died in pain last year, and yet, she was undergoing surgery. He said her action was unwise, knowing that people may say she used Dangote’s money for that surgery
Responding to the critics, the reality star called Nigerians hypocritical, noting how many of them are miserable. Phyna said her late sister’s parents moved on the second day she died, hence why she is allowed to move on. Phyna noted how she had already grieved her sister and will always have her in her heart.
Recall that in August, the reality star called out businessman Aliko Dangote and his business, Dangote Group, over its truck, which crashed into her sister. She claimed that the businessman and his company told the Nigerian police to remove the truck’s plate number. Threatening fire, she noted that the businessman has only money but not God.
Following the incident, Dangote’s group released a press statement expressing its unwavering commitment to the well-being of Phyna’s sister. The company said it’s ensuring full support for the victim, including comprehensive medical care and appropriate compensation.
Unfortunately, on Sunday, August 31st, the reality star’s sister, passed away.
Following her demise, Phyna had penned an emotional tribute to her late sister, while celebrating her child’s 6th birthday. She praised her late sister for shaping her life. The reality star said losing her left a space that no one else can ever fill, but loving her left an imprint that can never fade.
On her son’s birthday, the reality star shared photos of the celebrant, and wished him a happy first birthday. She said that his mum was deeply missed and prayed for him to grow in light.
