Nigerian music star Davido has reacted to a sweet video of soon-to-be parents, Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi.
Kemi Filani reported earlier that the couple had dedicated a sweet video to their unborn child. In the clip, the couple were seen in matching outfits, sharing a sweet moment.
Reacting to the video, Davido, via Temi’s comment section, wrote, “Congrats guys!!

Recall that when Davido celebrated his white wedding with Chioma, Temi’s father, Femi Otedola, congratulated them. In his message, Femi stated that his and Chioma’s beautiful occasion wasn’t only a celebration of love but a testament to their renowned values of commitment, unity and family bond.
Reacting to the message, Davido called him his uncle and expressed his appreciation. Affirming love for the businessman, he congratulated his daughter, Temi Otedola and her singer husband, Mr Eazi, on their union.
Recall that in 2022, after losing his son, Davido had unfollowed Femi Otedola and his daughter, DJ Cuppy, on Instagram.
This came days after the billionaire businessman celebrated a lavish birthday party on a yacht alongside his family, while Davido, a family friend, mourned his first son.
Recall that Davido and Chioma lost their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke on Monday, October 31, 2022, just a few days after he celebrated his 3rd birthday. It was alleged that the toddler drowned in his father’s swimming pool and was rushed to a popular Lagos hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
In a heartbreaking post, he had remembered Ifeanyi, describing his late son as a legend and told him to rest in peace.
In an emotional interview, Davido said he and his wife believes Ifeanyi came back trough their twin son as they share a striking resemblance. While reflecting on the pain, he stated that to come back for such heartbreak and be blessed with twins is indescribable.
Speaking on his son’s death in a touching interview with CNN, last year, Davido broke down in tears as he revealed that grieving the loss of his son had some impact on his album, as it made him take a step back. He stated that he and his wife, Chioma, didn’t deserve that.
Following his son’s demise, he dedicated a song in his Timeless album to him and his dead loved ones.
While speaking to Vogue following his white wedding, Davido had revealed why he wore a cufflink with a portrait of his late son, Ifeanyi, at the ceremony. He explained that the image of Ifeanyi was to keep him close to their hearts on such an important day.
While performing at his birthday concert in Atlanta last year, the singer paid tribute to his late son and his late mother. He wore a blazer with their faces on it, reaffirming his love for his son and telling him to tell his mother that he is a superstar.
In a recent interview, the Afrobeat singer declared his father his role model for parenting. He made it clear that his late mother only had him and his elder sister, but people think his half-siblings were his mother’s because of how well his father raised them. Applauding his dad, he said he looks up to him in raising his five kids with different mothers.
