Nollywood actress Lizzy Gold has addressed claims of shading Adanma Luke and May Edochie over Destiny Etiko.
The Asaba actress, via her Instagram page, celebrated Destiny as she bagged a new international endorsement.
Many saw her post as shading May Edochie and Adanma Luke, as they also got the same endorsement, but Lizzy excluded them from her post.
Speaking out, she said there’s no space for hatred and bitterness at her side. The movie star revealed that she received a call from Adanma, who informed her that she and May had also got the deal.
Congratulating them, she said she had edited the post.
“Honestly, there’s no space for hatred and bitterness over here.
Adanma Luke just called me 10 minutes ago, saying that, alongside Destiny, May Yul Edochie and Adanma Luke were also recognised for the ambassadorship deal. I also unknowingly only congratulated Destiny in my last post.

Lizzy called out her colleague, Ekene Umenwa, pointing out the irony of Ekene calling herself Jesus baby while fabricating huge lies to tarnish her colleague’s image, with the intent of coming out as the better person. Lizzy debunked reports of body odour, noting that everyone in Nollywood knows her hygiene is personal, and also shut down claims that she has two kids from different men.
Etiko and Lizzy have grown closer over the years, becoming Nollywood BFFs.
Earlier this year, Etiko Destiny had left Lizzy speechless as she gifted her bundles of naira at her father’s burial. Sharing the video on her Instagram, Destiny said she came correct for Lizzy.
This came after upcoming actress Adanma Waller, aka Priscawalls, shared a video exposing Ekene for all the lies she told her about her colleagues. She mentioned several colleagues whom Ekene badmouthed. The likes of Ruby Ojiakor, Lizzy Gold, Chioma Chijioke, Uche Nancy, Chinedu Isaac, and more were included.
Reacting to it, Destiny Etiko, via her Instagram page, stated that she thought they were sisters and questioned why Ekene was lying.
In another post, Etiko noted that Ekene had asked for forgiveness; however, she hasn’t forgotten what she did to her, which she considers an abomination. She noted that Ekene fabricated lies against her because she is a good child to her mother.
Last year, Destiny surprised Lizzy with N2 million on her birthday. Lizzy shared a screenshot of the credit alert, questioning whether anyone else’s best friend could do such a thing, and urged her fans to appreciate Destiny on her behalf.
Recall that in June, 2024, Destiny hinted at a fallout with Lizzy after she unfollowed her on Instagram.
As expected, social media users were divided over the news, with many noting how Destiny loves to fight with her colleagues, while others stated that Lizzy must have done something to the movie star.
Lizzy, however, shut down the rumours as she shared a clip of Destiny Etiko’s movie and urged her fans and followers to watch it and Destiny commented on it, and had later re-followed her.
