Gov Idris casts vote as APC presidential primary commences in Kebbi

Voting has commenced in the presidential primary election of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kebbi State, with large numbers of party members and supporters chanting “Sai Tinubu” while displaying their voting cards during the exercise.

Governor Nasir Idris was present at his polling unit alongside former Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu, Ambassador Saidu Dakingari, and other party stakeholders to participate in the voting process.

According to officials at the exercise, the governor’s polling unit recorded a total of 5,652 accredited voters, while Nassarawa Polling Unit II had 2,825 voters.

The exercise reportedly ended with delegates and party members affirming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in both polling units.

Following the exercise at Nasarawa II Ward, Governor Idris, Bagudu, and other party leaders proceeded to Nasarawa I Ward to observe the ongoing primary election.

The APC presidential primary election was conducted amid tight security and the presence of party officials and stakeholders monitoring the process across the wards.
