SOME football fans in Aba have urged the Super Eagles of Nigeria to raise their game at the ongoing Unity Cup to retain the trophy.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Jamaica, who defeated Iran 2-0 in the second semifinals on Wednesday.

Speaking to NAN in Aba on Thursday, the fans urged the Super Eagles handler, Eric Chelle to use the best legs in the final.

Ezinne Mba, a fan, advised the technical team not to experiment with players in the final game against Jamaica, which might be aggressive and focused not to lose again.

“Chelle should not underrate Jamaica because they have improved on their standard in 2025 and will want to prove it in the final,” she said.

Uche Maduka, another fan, said that the Super Eagles defense still needed little brushing, urging them to give their maximum concentration in the final.

He urged the technical team to work more on the team transition and ensure the strikers do not lack ball supply that could lead to goals.

Ebere Okoro urged the team to raise the bar against Jamaica to show their superiority over the Raggy boys.

“We need to retain this trophy to show that we still remain the giant of Africa in football.

“As we did not qualify for the world cup, these players should not lose concentration because, Nigerians need the trophy to make up for the world cup failure,” Okoro said.
