Manchester City’s manager, Pep Gaurdiola, has called an end to his glamorous 10 years stint with the English Premier League giant.
The 50-year-old Spanish gaffer who took over the Cityzens in 2016 helped the team lift 20 trophies which included the FA Cup title won on Saturday as well as the Carabao Cup.
Though he had one more year left on his contract, reports emerging within Manchester City’s camp on Monday confirmed the imminent exit of the legendary coach.
The news of his exit is however expected to be formally confirmed some time on Sunday after the final match of the season, in time for Guardiola’s stunning impact on English football to be celebrated at an open-top bus parade on Monday.
According to reports, the parade build-up will start at Manchester’s Northern Quarter at 4pm before finishing outside the Colin Bell Stand reception at the Etihad Stadium an hour later.
