Nollywood actor Williams Uchemba has reacted to the death of fellow actor Alex Ekubo, describing his passing as a transition rather than an end.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that in a touching post shared on Instagram, Uchemba said he believes Alex Ekubo belonged to Jesus and had now returned to his maker. He stated that the most important period in a man’s life is the final years spent on earth and expressed happiness that the late actor spent his last moments closer to God.
The actor also said he believes they would meet again someday, adding a lighthearted message asking Alex Ekubo to greet his late mother in heaven.
Despite the painful loss, the actor said he would not cry because his friend had escaped the troubles of the world.
He wrote: “This is not the end brother because we don’t really die we just transition 😊 Alex belongs to Jesus and Jesus has taken his baby😊 The most important time of a mans life is his last few years on earth and I am happy you spent yours more in the presence of your maker. Till we meet again brother.
