Accuses Lagos Lawmaker of Causing Religious Divisions Among Constituents

Chief of staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila on Thursday said member of the Lagos State House of Assembly Desmond Eliot almost cause his sack by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu last year.
Gbajabiamila said Eliot’s alleged involvement in the push for the removal of the Speaker of the House of Assembly Mr. Mudasiru Obasa came to the knowledge of the President who informed him.
He said apart from being part of a plot to impeach Obasa which almost caused him his job, Eliot was fingered as creating religious division among constituents.
NPO Reports that Eliot is fighting the battle of his life to be re-elected as member of the Lagos parliament.
