Principal Consultant and Trainer at CETTLE CONSULTING NIGERIA LIMITED
AFTER nearly 30 years of a career that spanned across banking, and oil & gas, with competencies,
skills, and experiences in internal control/auditing, fraud examination/investigation, corporate
governance, corporate communication, media relations, event management,
conferences/exhibitions, executive speech writing/coaching, etc. I am adding value to corporate
organizations, professional associations, training institutes and universities, as a consultant, trainer,
and educationist. With a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a Master’s degree in Financial
Management, a PhD in International Business Management, and a post-doctoral certification in
Executive Leadership from Stanford University, I possess a skillset and experience to help
organizations and businesses formulate and implement strategies and initiatives for effective
communication, impactful leadership, and the maximization of stakeholder value. Above all, I
make organizations understand and appreciate how the communication, leadership, and the
maximization of stakeholder value, enhances the maximization of shareholder value.
In my 25 years of successful career at TotalEnergies, 17 years were in the communication function,
where I held several positions- Internal Communication Manager, External Communication
Manager, Corporate Communication Manager, External Relations Manager, Deputy General
Manager, External/Country Communication (covering all the TotalEnergies companies in
Nigeria).
My role in internal communication involved the articulation of the organization’s communication
strategies and plans to achieve effective communication between management and staff, and
ultimately industrial harmony.
In external communication, I was responsible for propagating the activities of TotalEnergies to
ensure a positive image and reputation for the company and ensure cordial relationships with
critical stakeholders, especially the media. The role also involved the organization and
management of professional conferences and exhibitions as well as the company’s external events.
In my position as the Deputy General Manager, External/Country Communication, I led a diverse
team of professionals in articulating and implementing the corporate communication strategy for
TotalEnergies companies in Nigeria. This role involved the management of the media, leading
crisis communication, writing executive speeches, leadership coaching, relating with
stakeholders/the public as company spokesperson, etc
