The Action Peoples Party, APP, in Osun State on Saturday affirmed its candidates for the Senate, House of Representatives, and Osun State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The affirmation exercise, held before the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, party members, and stakeholders, was led by Adeloye Ogunmodede and featured the endorsement of candidates who emerged through consensus across the state.

According to him, “the affirmation of candidates for the various elective positions reflects the confidence reposed in them by the party and its determination to move forward as a united political family.”
Odesola said the exercise followed a peaceful and successful consensus across the affected constituencies in the state without rancour, disruption, or controversy.
