Drew Sidora says she could face homelessness after a judge awarded primary custody of her children to her estranged husband, Ralph Pittman, and ordered her to leave their shared home.
According to new court filings, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star was ordered to vacate the marital residence by May 31.
In the filing, Drew told the court she does not have the money to move by the deadline and has not begun searching for another place to live. She said she lacks the “financial resources” to relocate and warned that she and her eldest son from a previous relationship could end up “homeless” if she is forced to leave by the end of May.
Drew and Ralph share two children, and in the filing, Sidora claimed that Pittman earns three times as much as she does. She is also challenging the judge’s decision to award Ralph primary custody. Sidora alleged that she and Pittman had privately agreed to joint custody before appearing in court, but that he changed his position during the hearing.
The custody decision reportedly followed concerns about the children’s school attendance while they were in Drew’s care.
Drew and Ralph’s divorce has been ongoing for more than three years after both filed to end their marriage. Ralph lived in their basement for the majority of their separation.
