Offset is recovering after being shot outside a Florida casino, but the rapper is also dealing with yet another legal fight involving an alleged gambling debt.

According to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Detroit’s MotorCity Casino Hotel claims Offset borrowed $100,000 through a casino credit line in March 2024 while gambling at the property.

The casino alleges that Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, signed an agreement allowing the casino to withdraw the funds directly from his bank account if the debt was not repaid. Court documents claim the casino later attempted to collect the money but could not because there were insufficient funds in the account.

MotorCity Casino is now suing Offset for breach of contract, fraud, and other claims tied to the unpaid balance.

A representative for Offset told the news outlet, “We are working toward a resolution.”

The lawsuit surfaced just days after Offset was shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The former Migos rapper suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a fight involving Lil Tjay’s entourage turned violent. Lil Tjay denies the allegations but accused Offset of being a “rat” and even threatened “smack the ****” out of him in front of reporters after being released from jail.

Offset remains in stable condition following the shooting.

The latest lawsuit adds to a growing list of financial problems for the rapper. Last year, Offset reportedly paid more than $1.5 million after the IRS filed a federal tax lien against him.
