Nigerian singer and producer, Young Jonn has shared that he is not in a place where he can settle down with one woman.
He said he prefers to keep his interactions light and without serious attachment for now.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that in a recent interview on Afro Today, the 31-year-old explained that while he believes in love, he is not ready to give his full attention and time to a single partner. He said he feels it would not be fair to enter a serious relationship when he cannot fully meet the expectations that come with it.
He also mentioned that he is choosing to relate with people in a simple and friendly way instead of entering committed relationships at this stage of his life. According to him, it is better to avoid putting anyone in a situation where they may expect more than he can offer at the moment.
“Everybody loves love. I mean, love is wonderful. But, I’m not really in that space where I can give so much of me to one person. So, I’m just keeping it platonic with everybody,” he said.
He added, “I don’t want a serious relationship right now. Because I feel like I won’t be able to give that person as much as I’m supposed to. So why put them in that situation?
“My problem with women is that I can’t stick with just one dish. I’m human, I can’t help it.”
