Bobby Shmurda is standing by Sean “Diddy” Combs despite the disgraced music mogul’s conviction and prison sentence.
During a recent appearance on The Real Report with Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda, the Brooklyn rapper defended Diddy and questioned accusations made by several women.
“Free my n—a Diddy, man,” Shmurda said. “I know n—-s ain’t f–king with Diddy, but free Diddy, man.”
The comments quickly stirred reactions in the room, but Shmurda continued, saying he did not believe every allegation surrounding the Bad Boy founder.
“I know people be lying and I know how far lies be going,” he said.
Shmurda, 31, first rose to fame in 2014 with the viral hit “Hot N—a” and later returned to music after serving time in prison on conspiracy and weapons charges.

He said he does not personally know Diddy, but still wanted to speak out.
“I’m not cool with Diddy,” Shmurda said. “I’m not cool with Diddy, nor do I have a personal relationship with him.”
Diddy, 56, built one of hip-hop’s most successful careers through Bad Boy Records, helping launch artists including The Notorious B.I.G., Faith Evans and more.
In July 2025, Diddy was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges but convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He is currently serving a 50-month sentence in New Jersey and is expected to be released on April 15, 2028, after serving his full term.
