Iranian state media reported that U.S. forces carried out a strike on the Aq Tekeh Khan railway bridge near the city of Aqqala in Golestan Province.
According to the reports, seven projectiles struck the bridge, causing damage to the railway infrastructure. Iranian authorities said emergency teams were deployed to assess the site and evaluate the extent of the damage.
The Aq Tekeh Khan bridge is part of the regional railway network in northern Iran. Iranian state media did not immediately report any casualties from the incident.
The reported strike marks another expansion of U.S. military operations inside Iran as exchanges between the two sides continue.
