A married woman has opened up about an emotional dilemma, revealing that she is torn between her caring husband and an ex-boyfriend who has resurfaced seeking a second chance.
Sharing her story in an anonymous confession, the young woman explained that although her husband has treated her well throughout their marriage, she has never truly been in love with him.
Husband Supported Her Through Pregnancy
According to the woman, her relationship with her ex-boyfriend ended after he denied responsibility for her pregnancy.
She said she later met another man who stood by her during that difficult period, covering her hospital bills, house rent and other expenses right up until she gave birth.
“I Married Him Out of Gratitude” Woman Says
She disclosed that the man eventually proposed to her, and she accepted not out of love, but out of appreciation for everything he had done for her.
She added that they got married two years ago and that he has remained a loving and supportive husband ever since.
Ex-Boyfriend Returns
However, she revealed that her former boyfriend recently reached out, apologised for denying the pregnancy, and explained the reasons behind his earlier actions.
Sharing her dilemma, she wrote: “I am standing in between the Red Sea. If I say I am confused, it is an understatement.
My ex and I had issues that led him to deny the pregnancy. He denied it and I had the baby with the help of a very good guy who was there for me.
Hospital bill, house rent, everything down to pads, he was there for me. He made sure he took care of me.
He later said he wanted to marry me. I accepted, but not out of love. I believed he was good to me.
We got married two years ago and he is doing his best, but I don’t love him at all. My ex later came back and explained why he denied it.
He said he wants me back and that he cannot lose me. I see his sincerity, to be honest.
I am now left to choose. He said he is relocating to Canada soon. If I decide, he will stay back to marry me.
My husband is so good; it’s just that I don’t love him at all.”
