In a post shared on his Facebook page on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, Ossai said he finds the pledge difficult to believe.
He argued that Obi would find it difficult to resist such calls if he eventually wins the presidential election, claiming that the former Anambra State governor is someone who easily bows to pressure.
Ossai said, “Peter Obi’s one-term pledge is difficult for anyone to believe. If he becomes president, he would likely face intense pressure from his Igbo support base to seek a second term.
