Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has professed his love for music star Davido.
In a recent interview, he declared that he loves the singer so much because he has a good heart. Zubby shared that the first time he met Davido, Davido was screaming and making videos, and people around him told him to calm down, noting that Davido’s also a superstar.
Zubby said he told them, however, to keep quiet, as they can’t tell him how to react.
“I love Davido so much. He has a good heart. The first time I met him, I was screaming and making videos. People told me to calm down because I’m a superstar too, but I told them to keep quiet. They can’t tell me how to react”.
Zubby isn’t the only one fond of Davido.
Earlier this year, Lateef Adedimeji had expressed admiration for Davido. While sharing photos from their Abuja meetup, Lateef revealed that he had always admired Davido, even though they’re from different industries and backgrounds. He said that as an actor, he admires icons who move the culture with their craft, and Davido is one of them and is a musical genius.
Veteran actor and media personality Patrick Doyle sang the singer’s praises, noting how he maintained a calm disposition despite attacks from his colleagues. Commending his behavior, the ex-husband of Ireti Doyle noted how Davido humbly redirected his steps when he was erred and corrected by elders.

Singer, Spyro had recounted how he first met Davido’s wife, Chioma. He revealed that he came to beg the singer at home to come to his event and saw Chioma’s pictures plastered on his walls.
Nigerian business magnate and politician Senator Ben Murray-Bruce stirred the internet with his prediction for Davido. He predicted that the Singer could someday become the Governor of Osun State. He noted how the singer’s political potential isn’t only tied to his fame and his family’s significant political background, but also has the political DNA necessary for a successful political career.
Last year, Davido won the hearts of many with his humility and respect for Abia State Governor Alex Otti. In a viral clip, the superstar singer is seen leaving a building and entering his car with his crew when he sighted the Governor. Davido got out of the car and paid respect to him as a typical Yoruba man.
