Nigerian comedian Deeone has come for music star Davido over his noticeable absence from his friend, Soso Soberekon’s, wedding.
Kemi Filani reported that on Saturday, July 25th, the music executive tied the knot to his lover, Princess Ebiere, in a star-studded ceremony in Warri, Delta State.
As expected, his wedding drew in lots of celebrities like Rita Dominic, Ini Edo, Nancy Isime, Iyabo Ojo and Priscilla, Mercy Eke, KCee, E-Money, Cubana Chief Priest, Toke Makinwa, Peggy Ovire, and many more.
Noticeably absent at the ceremony was Davido, who has been friends and business partners with Soso for many years. To make it worse, the singer didn’t congratulate him on his Instagram page.
Noting this, Deeone slammed Davido for being ungrateful, saying that after all Soso did for the singer, he couldn’t even attend his wedding.
The comedian claimed Davido is jealous of Soso’s wealth and described him as a terrible human being. He added that Davido only wants what’s good for his colleagues as long as they aren’t doing better than him.
“Davido is jealous of Soso Soberekon because Soso is richer than him. He is a terrible human being. He wants good for his colleagues but not more than he does. He is envious and jealous of his colleagues. He was close to Wizkid, not until Wizkid became better than him”.
Deeone has, over the years, made headlines for criticising celebrities.
In the wake of Chike’s alleged affair with Frank Edoho’s ex-wife, Deeone slammed Davido over his comment on Chike’s page. He slammed the singer for not respecting himself and questioned if he was encouraging such an act.
When Nedu announced he was quitting his popular podcast, DeeOne defended him, noting how the media personality never told him anything about the social media activist. DeeOne revealed that Nedu is going through a lot as he urged Peter Obi, E-Money, Don Jazzy, and others to defend him.
The comedian, while attacking Tacha, revealed why she can never be faithful in a relationship. He alleged that the reality star is a hustler and is a side chick to married men.
He had also trolled her and other celebrities over their fake lifestyle. He noted how they would someday be exposed and admonished their fans not to follow in their footsteps.
Weighing into BBNaija Phyna’s beef with her family, DeeOne had offered the reality star’s father N500k. In want seems like a shade at the reality star, he admonished her to stop living a fake life.
The two had been at logger head after Deeone accused her of lying in a podcast that she had rejected 5 million naira from a fan.
Not believing her story, he pleaded with Phyna to release evidence to back up her claim and Phyna reacted by tagging him as gay and also dragging his parents.
Recently, Phyna had issued a quick PSA to him promising to slap him anytime she sees him. This came after DeeOne dragged her for not having funds, hence, her dragging Multichoice.
