The Executive Chairman,Edo State Sports Commission Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele has congratulated Mrs. Efe-Amenze Agharese Patricia on her appointment as substantive Permanent Secretary in the state Civil Service..

The Edo State Sports Commission boss described the appointment and confirmation of Mrs Agharese Patricia Efe-Amenze as a Permanent Secretary in the Edo state Civil Service as a well-deserved one.

Hon Enabulele said that the confirmation of Mrs Efe-Amenze as PS is in recognition and rewards for her dedication, competence and years of exemplary service to the Edo State Civil Service.

Enabulele in his remarks noted that the historic appointment and confirmation of Mrs Efe-Amenze,a disciplined sports administrator who rose through the ranks in the service is a huge motivation and hope for other civil servants and athletes in the state.

He expressed gratitude to the state Governor for considering Mrs Efe-Amenze worthy. ” I congratulate our own PS for the elevation. This is a beautiful gift for us in the state Sports Commission. And I strongly believe too that it will spur her to do more and will also serve as motivation for upcoming athletes and civil servants in our midst.

” We are grateful to our governor for this honour. It is a big achievement and honour to us because this is happening for the first time. It means that the future is bright for Edo civil servants in the parastatals.” He said.

The Sports Commission Chairman expressed confidence in the ability of Mrs. Efe-Amenze to deliver on her duty in advancing the core values of the Edo State Civil Service.

The Edo State Governor,Senator Monday Okpebholo, on Friday inaugurated 20 newly appointed Permanent Secretaries into the Edo State Civil Service. He charged them to discharge their duties on honesty and patriotism.

The governor advised the senior civil servants to always seek clarification and genuine information through the head of service and to reach him whenever the need arises instead of acting on misinformation.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Festival Hall of the Government House in Benin amidst pump and celebration.
