Afrobeat stars Davido, Tems and Wizkid will headline the 2026 AfroPlus Fest scheduled for Sept. 4 to 6 at the Washington Commanders’ stadium grounds in Maryland, United States.
The organisers announced the lineup on the festival’s official Instagram page, @theafroplus.
Davido will headline the opening night on Sept. 4, Tems will lead the second day on Sept. 5, while Wizkid will close the festival on Sept. 6.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the three-day music festival is scheduled to hold over the U.S. Labor Day weekend.
Other artistes billed to perform include Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr and Olamide, alongside American rappers Lil Baby, Latto, Sexyy Red and Chief Keef, as well as Jamaican dancehall artiste Alkaline.
NAN reports that the festival returns for its 2026 edition after debuting as a one-day event in Washington, D.C., in August 2025 drawing an estimated 20,000 attendees, according to organisers.
Meanwhile, fans across social media have continued to express excitement over the appearance of Davido, Tems and Wizkid at the same festival, describing the all-star lineup as another milestone for Afrobeats on the global stage. NAN
