Beautiful Moment WTO DG Okonjo-Iweala Showed Dancing Skills With Igbo Masquerades

The World Trade Organisation (WTO) Director-General, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has thrilled staff and guests at the organisation’s Open Day as she showcased her dancing skills with Igbo masquerades.

Okonjo-Iweala, in multiple videos posted on her official X handle on Sunday, joined the Ogene singers and masquerade in dancing at the anniversary which was set aside to celebrate the culture and tradition of the WTO staff.

The energetic 72-year-old former Nigerian Minister of Finance stunned the crowd and relatives present at the event with her dance steps.

Okonjo-Iweala, in a separate post, expressed her gratitude to the WTO members for making the Open Day fun with their food and cultural items.

“So many WTO Members made the Open Day fun with their food and cultural items. Many thanks to the members that participated: China, Chinese Taipei, Comoros, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Georgia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Mongolia, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Peru, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand, Viet Nam.

“There are many beautiful photos of the day that will momentarily be up on the WTO Website.

“Here are a few of me with some visiting children. Many thanks also to the many staff and the volunteers who made the day a successful one. Up WTO!” She wrote as she shared some pictures taken during the event.
